Tagging along - just in case anyone answers. I am in the market for a return pump for my 230G build and am currently thinking about using the Jaebo 12000.

Hece. Are you wanting internal or external? I have been using the internal mag drive 9.5 for several years on my 105. I do like it and it works great. You might want to go slightly bigger though-mag 12. I am changing up my system soon and have been talking to multiple people about external pumps. I am going to use the Reeflo Swordtail. I have heard great things about it and is supposed to be ideal for up to 150 gal system. I had the guy at vivid aquariums run the numbers (head pressure) and recommended the Swordtail. I like it because the return can be reduced to 3/4" without messing up the pump.

I like the Jaebo DC return pumps. They are fairly quiet as well. I have the DC 12000 and never really have it on higher then 4 out of the 6 levels. For the 135 g tank I think the dc 6000 or 9000 would work well.
