Hey guys
Got a new tank about to get up and going. It’s a IM Nuvo 14 Peninsula. Going be a temp/isolation tank while the big UNS 90s is doing a long term cycle and maturing for its anemones.

Wanted something easy to house my Clowns and easy to have battery back ups during hurricane season.

Needed some rocks so I decided to use Chandler Rocks again to build a Crashes Star Destroyer. Here is the inspiration photo I sent him. IMG_3439.jpeg

Here are the first pics of the Scape he created.

For being mostly all dry rock I was impressed. But I had some free time and a few tubes of putty so I decided to do a more realistic version with his scape as a base.

Here are the build progress pics. Enjoy Jake

This was going be the final version so I tapped up where the sand would cover to give me an ideal how it would work. Well showed some friends of mine and they said looks cool but…… So a week later I decided to go way more accurate with all of it.

Once I got the main shape where I wanted I took to redoing the tower and adding damage to look like it really crashed into the sand.

Today I put finish touches on battle damage and here it is.

Last step will be color. Going maybe try ARK rock safe colorant in a black or try Krylon Fusion in a light grey. Not sure yet.
