How often do you guys visit LFS? Man if I make it once a month I'm happy - I work remotely but when i'm in the office I visit FJW since it's just a mile away and on the way back go to OLA. I have noticed lots of hobbyist shop online nowadays. I still enjoy buying my new fish locally. I know the quality of the live stock has gone down over the years but luckily I had pretty good luck in the past.

I'm afraid it's well below once a month for me, especially for the stores in or south of Houston. I agree I enjoy buying locally more, but the misery of Houston traffic, even on weekends, takes so much of the fun away. But then, I'm not buying that much lately anyway, as my tanks are fairly well stocked and just waiting for some things to grow.

I have basically only gone to Fish Gallery in the woodlands for fish food for a while just because I’m so dang busy these days. I managed to swing by TAP last week looking for peppermint shrimp though.
I almost never go north of clear lake, so I’d argue there is no LFS near me. I might make a tour of some of the stores once or twice a year.

ADG once every 6-8 weeks for frozen. Thats it. I could use a small tang and a 6 line for lowboy but I favor qt’d fish only.

I go to get salt from LFS. I also like to shop for fish. Often times I find the LFS doesn't have the greatest selection of coral, but the prices are usually good. I also get annoyed at the "per head" pricing in some shops. Just tell me the damn price...
