Not real clear on how much knowledge they are sharing between themselves. I am more concerned with neptune influencing the other two negatively but I am not a fan of my unreliable neptune products. Perhaps it will be the other way around and they will slap neptune's leadership into actually standing behind their products! I cannot imagine the reef industry is big enough that they could turn into a one giant but time will tell.

I don't know I got very lucky with my apex - no real issues even wifi worked wonderfully for a few years.

The salinity probe and wave pumps are junk the rest of the equipment saved me a lot of headache especially when away from home.

I think it's a must for a reef tank - looking at the overall cost it's nominal vs how much we spend on the tank/fish/corals.

Back to the topic.....

By the end of May 2022, the price of an apex EL will rise by 20% (from the $499 price tag, currently, to $599). Anyone want to take that bet? Let’s wager a frag worth $100.

All my Apex’s have been pretty reliable so far. I haven’t bought another yet, because I know they’re fixing to update to a new controller soon.

Hyperinflation is affecting just about everything thing.
That will happen when you print money like crazy for 13 years to keep the economy from collapsing.

Having said that, a monopoly has never historically worked out well for the consumer, nor the employee. There’s a reason that anti-monopoly laws have to be set in place. Otherwise, due to its winner-take-all design, capitalism fails pretty quick out of the gates. I’m not making an ideological judgement either way, just say, it’s a design flaw of capitalism that has to be accounted for, or else it won’t function well.

Capitalism built this Country and is why every tribe and tongue seeks to enter America.

Again, not making a judgment, just looking at it as a mechanic. No system is perfect and if you can't critique it then you'll allow it indulge its worst tendencies, and capitalism is no exception. The only person that wins in a monopoly is the capitalist.

I never said anything about socialism. I was just saying that capitalism has its problems, no different than any other system, and a monopoly is one of the issues it has, which is what BRS is apparently gaming for. If they secure it then the consumers and employees will be worse off for the monopoly.

China is not successful? News to me. How are you defining success? What they don't have in human rights they make up for in boat loads of filthy money.

Also "let's go Brandon" is dumb. What's wrong with just saying f sleepy Joe. It was funny when it just came out because of how it was started but using it as a dog whistle insult now seems pretty juvenile.
