IM down in NWGA... we getting teens next week I think

Yeah it's going to be brutal. It's going to be freezing all week, snow on Monday, and it's been raining leading up to those temps. Trees are going to drop branches due to the ice on them, and when the electricity goes out, it's going to be bad. I am going to clean up the carburetor on my generator tomorrow.

Luckily, my 4000w generator is enough to keep my tanks warm, and a ceramic heater for my bedroom. Those without generators are going to be in trouble.

I know I'm in the minority, but disappointed that all the pics seem to be under high blues...

Pics are usually always on high blues. I like quite a few on marsh have have seen UCCs setup (when it was near the north side of 610) they have an awesome selection of LPS and do a lot of growout within their facility. The owners are a couple, so your buying to support a local houston family. BTW, I have a couple of corals I bought from them 3-4 years ago that I sold for well over 600 bucks after the first indo ban! They have an awesome selection ... that has ironically made me $$$.

Are y'all getting hit with the winter storm up in Michigan? Us here in Houston are going to see single digit temps this week. We don't know how to manage weather that cold down here in Houston!

I spent one night in Michigan after my flight got canceled. I had foolishly put my toiletries in my checked-in bag, so I had to walk to go get the essentials. It was the first time I had ever seen ice sickles. At the time, I was shocked that people would willingly live somewhere that cold haha

I don't disagree with the quality of their corals, but as someone who walks around LFS frag tanks with my flashlight (ask Anise, lol), I really prefer to see what a coral will look like in my tank before buying. As for pics always being on high blues, that depends on the vendor.
