    Mp10

Bought about a month ago from another MARSHian. Finally was able to put it to use on the new tank only to discover that my glass is too thick?!?

It's an older model (blue controller) but from the minute or so that it runs before the dry side falls off the glass...it works just fine! Before you ask...No, it did not fall on the ground, I had it anchored to the stand.

I'd love to keep it so if someone has any suggestions that'd be great, otherwise I'm asking $70 for it (paid $80).

    Cash or paypal only please.

    Pick up NW Houston (77073).

The magnets seem to get weaker as time goes by. Mine used to stay on my 150 just fine, but now it requires tape to keep it attached. A bit ugly, but it does work.

There are little stickies you can attach to the glass and have the dry side of the mp10 zip tied to the stickie.

How thick is the glass of your aquarium? I was using this on 10mm (0.39 inches) without issue.

My glass is 1/2" thick. I tried doing the sticky and ziptie trick, but being on the back of the tank against the wall it was a bit difficult to manuever and make it work haha....and my arms are a bit short haha! For the few minutes however that it would stay up and run it was great!

This was a great idea! I just couldn't manuever my arms back there well enough to make it work. Thank you though for your suggestion!

Ahhh ok. 1/2 is greater than what Ecotech rated for the mp10s

I'm so sorry @MrPorter, I tried to reply to all the pm's last night, but Mr Sandman came calling early. If it falls through I will let you know.
