    Large Magnetic Stir Plate

This is the big sister of the smaller portable plate I have available in the store. The difference is that this is bigger (duh!), wall power adapter powered and the magnet and pill are bigger and stronger for bigger containers.

I made this at the request of a client for a basic "kalk stirrer" using a Voss bottle. I think there's enough value there so i decided to offer it as stirrer only (to help mix ca/alk bottles when made, if you like to do testing as well with it you can etc) and stirrer plus bottle where i can replicate what i made for the other client (drilled Voss bottle with 1/4" john guest adapter and 1/4 acrylic tubing inside to the bottom).

    More info here: https://printed3d.parts/product/larg...ic-stir-plate/

What’s the thickness of the bottom of the Voss bottle? And who is using a Voss bottle for a container?

Haha this was a request by a client. Since i went through the process to design it, and since i saw that there are some merits, i figured I'd put it up for sale in case someone else has a similar need.

Thickness of the bottom i think is 1/4". BTW to my knowledge d2mini was the one that I've seen using these bottles first but i might be wrong. They're pretty elegant...

This is pretty cool. Ive been considering getting a few from ghl to go with my doser, but Im always up for supporting our local sponsors when possible. Just so Im clear, this does not have a timer, it has to be manually turned on and off, correct?

Do you have the surface dem's of the smaller version?

Thank you for your consideration! I'm actually working in making a limited amount of dosing acrylic containers 1.5L with an optic sensor to pair with my SOSS so you can get alerted if you like when the levels are running low. I might have those released in the next few weeks. They'll be more expensive than the VOSS bottle solution though.

If you want to reproduce the VOSS bottle yourself, you can do the following:
    1) Get a Voss bottled water (duh!). Feel bad when people are looking at you like you are a privileged a**hat. I could read the judgment in their eyes "why is this idiot paying so much money for water!".
    2) Consume water (my wife tells me it's actually pretty good, I don't care either way, I just needed the bottle haha).
    3) Get a John Guest bulkhead.
    4) Open the appropriate size hole in the cap for the bulk head with a spade bit (mine was 1/2" if I remember correctly).
    5) Get some 1/4" acrylic tubing (eBay is your friend, I can PM link if you like).
    6) Voila, one VOSS bottle dosing container.

As I said, I first saw these from d2mini. They're very heavy and a pain to ship so that's why they cost so much on my site. But if you like them, they're easy to make!

If you want something a tad more though (more volume and features), you might want to check out the acrylic ones I will produce soon. A sneak peek is attached.

PS: I'm not sure if you ended up needing any information regarding the stirrer, if you do please let me know.

So I'm wondering if you can do a custom size?? I keep all my dozing containers in one small-ish cabinet. It would be easier to put all 3 bottles on one stirrer than 3 seperate plates all doing their own thing. What is their area of travel when they are in motion?
