small dip net...found out that if you shine a flashlight into the water they all scatter making it harder to catch them....just dip you net between the rocks in the jetty and check your net with your light afterwards....we were catching 2-3 per dip

REMEMBER THAT YOU CANNOT SELL PEPPERMINT SHRIMP ON THE BOARD. IT IS ILLEGAL TO CATCH AND SELL LIVESTOCK WITHOUT A LICENSE.

SO COLLECT ONLY WHAT YOU NEED, UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH SOMEONE ELSE TO COLLECT SOME FOR THEM.

THIS ISSUE HAS COME UP IN THE BST FORUM AND THE POSTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED.

They are best caught on the jetty right across from the Rain Forest Cafe. This is the best time of year,

It is looking like a good possibility for this weekend. My wife an I were thinking about going to galveston to hang out before it gets too cool to get in the water. Figured i could hit up some dinner then go hunting for stuff. I'll definitely let you know if we are going.

I went last night and after a couple hours only caught two. I think the biggest problem was the tide was out too far and there wasnt a lot of water to dip in. If I was into keeping rats I could have had all I wanted though.
Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here and drink what comes out"?
