I'm really thinking of changing my aquascape, I want a more open look. I really like them bonsai type of scape. How would you go about changing aquascape? Can you leave the fish in the tank?

Ive always left the fish in place to no detriment. But I don't have any sand dwellers who could get squished.

By taking the rock out to free up some room will I mess up the biological filtration? I don't wanna crash my system by doing this.

I might be able to put a few in depending on the size. My refuge already has rumble rock in there.

Outstanding job on your setup...especially the plumbing and electronics. I'll be setting up my system in the next few months...I would to use some of your wisdom when i start.
