Ok. You made me feel better. I'm starting out with a 13.5 (really 12, you've probably seen it. It is a Fluval). And my focus is on corals. Not just because of the tank size, but because that is what drew me in. The corals. If I thought I could have a successful tank with nothing but corals (no fish, no CUC), I would. But after a lot of thoughtful consideration, I think they all work together (usually) harmoniously and I feel it's important to recreate the corals' natural environment as much as possible. Do you have any info/pics of your tank(s) available?
On a side note: You're 16? I can't even begin to imagine doing this that young. Bravo!

Diesel, thank you for that information. I can't even begin to imagine. All that time, effort, and money. And I'm sure you become attached to one, some, or all of the life in your aquarium. I think it's very kind that people were so helpful. I know in the grand scheme of things, there is a lot more that has been lost. I personally know someone who drowned... but at the same time, it's the small things that can be so helpful and make you feel a bit better... at least that's how I think.

wow I have the same tank but I'm trying to sell it! Gonna start up my own coral farm! ( wink wink) but yea they both work really good together! And you can check out my YouTube channel! My channel name is ROYAL REEFER! I have all my tanks on there! All 5! And the one person I have to thank is my aunt nora she gave me 100$ for my 15th bday and I bought a saltwater tank! And my dad is my bank! But with out him I would not have what I have!

Greecu I started out small as well - currently running a 12.5 gallon tank myself but have finally started the build on a 75. Will be starting on the stand this weekend and possibly the sump as well

It's pretty common for new people to start small! But I've invested a lot in my first tank almost matches what I spent on my 65 so far! Kinda lol

I'm still waiting for my beer talk!
