Thank you for all of the advice and enchouragement. I live in Katy the Katy area. There is lots of great advice and I will try to get this under control. If it persists, I will be sure to let one of the many people who sent me private messages know.

My late husband taught me how to change the water and how much to feed the fish. I have learned that there is a little more to it than that. I have been using tap water with dechlorinator and if the advice on the forum is sound that may be where the problem lies. I picked up some premixed water from Oceanlife today and will be changing about 1/4th every day. They said I probably have high phosphates and I got new tests for that. I am going to look into a refractometer and RODI like they also suggested.

Thank you all and God Bless!

I'm in Katy as well if you ever need some RoDi , drop your bucket off and I can fill them.

Do you have any pictures of your tank?

I'd be happy to offer a Red Sea refractometer and some Red Sea test kits for you to use. Message me if you'd like to have them.

She said 2ft by 1ft. If accurate, she has a 20g long.
