    New to Nano

I had a 110 gal a few years back and sold it when I moved. I bought an Innovative Marine 25 gal about 7 weeks ago. I hated the substrate I had so recently changed it out to a finer sand. I'm sure I had a mini cycle but have been dosing prime and put in turbo start. I was wondering at what point I should turn my protein skimmer back on? About a month? Also I bought a wave maker and have it set on the lowest setting. Anyone else use a wave maker in a nano tank? It is good to be back!

Welcome back! I would start up that skimmer now. I wouldn't recommend not running one unless you do very frequent water changes. I used a wave maker in my 29gal. I wouldn't do it any different.
