Thanks! I have all the stands in now. Pictures will come in later. I'm gonna switch out the brackets for ones that are rated for 1200 pounds each though. By the end of tomorrow, we are gonna be looking spicy in my room.

Panorama. Below the dual 40 breeders on the right is where the big ole sump will go.

Hey! It's starting to look like a fish room, and not a bud light storage shed.

Oh you think I put in AC for the tanks? Nah, it was for the beer storage. Almost done working on the lawn, then back to work on the room.

Shelves painted. Time to do some chores, cook dinner, and let the second layer of paint dry. Any volunteers on chores? Today is floor day.

I don't think I'm gonna put plywood under the tanks. All the weight is on the trim and the frame is level so that it will evenly support weight on all sides. Plus, these tanks are built like.....tanks.

Also, the faces of the shelves and the other stand will be covered with dark brown stained wood. I think the contrast will add a little flare, plus it will cover the less attractive pine boards. It was pretty cheap for the lumber so I figured why not.

In addition, I have two of these WiFi cameras coming in tomorrow. Apparently, I can view them from my phone anywhere in the world, so I can keep an eye on my fish room, plus put one on the display on the inside. I'm not sure how I'm gonna mount the one on the inside, but it will be nice to see my display while I'm in my fish room.

Also, I have a 37" flat screen that I will be putting in the fish room and I will hook my android box up to it so that I can watch shows, or even view the cameras on the screen itself. Should be an interesting touch.

I put the brackets in accommodating for a slight sag once the weight of the water hit. Damn things are so good that once the tanks were full, and I was pulling down on them, there wasn't enough sag to level the tanks out. Either way, my floating tanks should be rock solid. Plus, we have that beautiful blue glow, at last!

Youre moving out into into the woods. Youll have plenty of room! Plus, you can design the room so that if you leave this hobby and take up another, you can repurpose the room for that hobby.
