    My first RoDi kit

I found this one and it seems like it has everything. Has anyone ever owned one? Should I buy a different model

Never heard of that before. Check out BRS or I use vertex deluxe 100gph with booster pump.

Premium RODI System - Buckeye Hydro

Might want to get that from a Marsh Sponsor.

Same price (lower gpd (probably don't need higher anyways) and you get better service!)!

Plus you can add onto it right there and configure it how you want.

    Some things to think about:
They call for 60 psi - this means they are likely NOT using a Filmtec membrane (which are spec'ed at 50 psi).
They provide no brand name nor spec's for the RO membrane.
They use incorrect jargon, which always makes me suspicious of the level of the vendor's expertise. For example, there is no such thing as a "micron filter."
They provide no spec's for the carbon block
They include a CGAC cartridge, which is ill advised. If the unit is intended for water with chloramines, a chloramine carbon block is superior. If CGAC is used, it should be placed before the carbon block.
For the picture, it appears the CGAC filter gets water AFTER the RO membrane. This is a fundamental configuration error.
This system is an RO - not an RODI
    No tds meter is included.
The system uses 1/4" fittings, but they send 1/2" tubing with it.
They include a garden hose adaptor for attaching to a faucet. Know that 99% of faucets do not have garden hose threads.
They cite a "Typical rejection rate: 1:4" indicating the vendor is confusing "rejection rate" and "recovery" - two very different aspects of RO technology.

    Hi, Justjuice.

If it were me, I wouldn't buy that thing off ebay. Listen to Russ, buy from Buckeye. I've been purchasing from them for years, you won't be disappointed.

    good luck,
    Steve
