Looks like I will need a brass fitting to screw into the water supply connector of the refrigerator. Are there such thing as brass (female) to quick connect fittings?

Are you sending RO water or just dechlorinated water to the refrig? Reason I ask is that you should have no metal contact with RO water, other than stainless steel.

I'm not sure of the configuration on that fitting you need. Is it 1/4" female NPT x 1/4" quick connect?

That's what I need. I'll order it. I already have a T after the sediment and carbon for drinking water that's controlled by a ball valve. I've found that not only does that make for great drinking water, but also let's me know when my carbon is running out. The water starts to taste chlorinated.
