A new tank of course is the best but if I just want to get my feet wet learning the hobby, I'd not want to spend that much money, nor do I want such a huge tank, especially for damsels.
In fact, 9 out 10 people would recommend you not to get damsels any how, they are mean. They will kill each other and any other fish you put in there not a lot bigger than them.

I have bought 10 used tanks over the years without leaks, each less than 1/2 original price.

Yup, i have a full understanding that damsels are the saltwater pitbulls, similar in attitude to that of a clown trigger. With that said, I read a few posts on RC by a damsel expert, whom i shall not name, but her pointers sound groundbreaking in term of keeping mutiple of damsels together with minimum warfare. iIRC beside lot of LR she mentions scaping hers vertically to break the fish horizontal view and that seems to work, for her at least.

@johnt was that a subtle ,or not so sublte jab, at what i already suspected

I’d do a damsel tank. Sounds interesting! I have a bicolor damsel right now and he certainly doesn’t take any crap. He’s keeping all 3 Sargent Majors, a clownfish, and 9 peppermint shrimp in check.

Be interested to see how this tank turns out. I say dump 20 in and let them battle it out. :-)

    F5 or F7 is what I get.

One is chicken and one is beef. I get chicken when I’m on my diet. Lol

Nghia, which one is beef? Shoot, they both make my mouth water.

He cooks oks them in this carmelized garlic union type sauce. Maybe he’ll elaborate on this.

I’m hooked on this place and I like Thai Jasmine too!

Found a standard brand new, rimmed Aqueon RR with 2 overflows + stand for 7 big ones. Personally, rimmed tank is unsightly but considering it’s gonna be her first tank, i think it shoukd be OK. Whatchathink?
