Does anybody have the exact base dimensions for 75/G tank?

I need the exact base dimensions so I can start construction on my stand. Yes a standard 75/G is 48 x 18, but Im sure it could be a little more.

Help would be great. Im pretty sure if I go 1 over -48 x 19- Ill be ok. Im fixing to leave for Lowes.

Thx, but the exact! I know it’s gotta be like slightly over 48.

Exact measurements on mine are 48 1/2" x 18 1/2", measuring the trim not the actual glass itself.

Yea standard may be a little off. Mine is exactly 48x18. Stand is looking good! Just built mine recently also!

I might, but doubt it. I’m enjoying my other little tank stand a lot. It has routed edges and is painted white.

It’s built like a tank and is a good little DIY stand. I’ll clean this one up a bit more as far as sanding and filling in holes for a more polished look. Hopefully will turn out clean.

Formica is a very clean look, but it’s difficult to work with. I’m not going that route again. :-)
