    Store recommendation for dry goods?

I'm setting up a tank and need to get dry sand, dry rock, salt mix, and random stuff like a mag float, python, etc. I can easily get all this stuff online but would rather support a local business. Do you guys have a recommendation for an LFS that has a decent selection of dry goods for fair prices?

I know you asked about dry sand, but if that's just because of price you may want to check out Petco. They have the CaribSea Arag-Alive Hawaiian black for $16.19 with instore pick up while Marine Depot has it for $38!!

I would give our sponsor brick and mortar stores listed here a call. I think most would have everything your looking for.

Great idea we have to help our local stores.

Most of them are awesome like FJW/Oceanlife/also see the sponsor page on Marsh.

And most will match online pricing for larger items so no need to wait for FedEx. Actually I got some Apex equipment from FJW/Urban Aquatics cheaper than online so can't beat that plus they are not just fish store owners but most importantly our friends.

Absolutely. Many of our local sponsor LFS will have what you need, and pricing is fair, usually will match the online vendor pricing as well.
