    Triton ICP Test

How many of you guys have done the Triton test. My god, how long is the waiting period? I send it weeks ago and still no result. Sending to a PO Box to California was a red flag to me. I guess from there it goes to Germany. The turn-around time is horrible. There are a couple of other US labs with a much quicker turn around time. Will not do Triton again...

Yeah, it takes too long for me.

Webster is a chemist and yesterday he was telling me he uses a company in the US. He called the guy and picked his brain about their protocol / procedure for testing. Webster seemed satisfied with his answers. The guy has an ICP machine like Triton and charges 1/2 the price with faster turnaround time.

I’ll be using him soon. Maybe Webster can elaborate more.

ICP-analysis is usually ~1week turnaround for me. Triton and ATI are ~2weeks, that extra hop to Germany is the killer.

Definitely contact Tim or one of the guys on the R2R sponsor forum.
Usually takes about 10 days for me.

RR-Man, they recently had an issue with their servers. Check now! I spoke with Tim from Triton this morning and he said all tests should have been uploaded now. Unfortunately, mine still has not been, and he is looking into it for me. (I sent my test off last Monday)

Appreciate all the help guys. It's not an urgent issue but I felt like it took too long. All is good with the tank.

I'm thinking about doing an ICP test 4 times a year just to make sure trace elements are on track.

That’s about what I want to do. Or even just 2x a year.

What a lot of people don’t realize is when a pump impeller, or a magnet goes bad. Anything metal can start breaking down in the tank and kill Acros like a bad dream. Had it happen and found my pump impeller leeching metal because the plastic coating got sheared off.

    Triton ICP Test

So I guess they never received the first water sample-they sent me a new test kit from Germany.
