    Long Fin Clownfish

I'm thinking of getting a long fin clownfish, Any likes dislikes on them? Please delete the other post. I put it in the wrong area.

Fish with long fins seem to make themselves more of a target for other fish, will he have larger tank mates are other clowns
if so may not be a good choice,

I have to disagree with that assumption. My wife and I visited SA and was shocked at the immense diversity of clowns they kept in tanks. When I say immense picture thousands of clowns in a tank sprinkled in some long fins and no one was picking on them more than any other fish. They were just viewed from my observations as clowns to the other clowns. Of course the numbers game plays into effect here due to sheer volume of clowns but even with the 18+ pairs we have no one picks on the long fins more than any other fish.

Clowns are safer in a tank full of clowns. That keeps them from establishing a pecking order. Also you don't see
how many dead fish they pull out every morning before opening. If you like clowns stick to your favorite pr.
    Otherwise you will experience sorrow.

What does SA mean? And I am no fish expert by any means, but David is right when it comes to a large tank that can accommodate thousands of them. The rules change. I know this because I've always kept small tanks in the past and the rules tend to bend there as well, and I couldn't do or keep things that normal or large tanks could.

Ok good. I thought San Antonio had returned to the reef that it used to be hundreds of thousands of years ago. Glad to see the boardwalk is ok haha
