Headed to MG to deliver corals

    Hey All!
The "Let it Grow" and "Grow Out" campaigns are going great and on track for an April donation event. AWESOME!

But....I'm gearing up for a big upgrade in January and wanted to start clearing some things out a little early so I called Ryan at MG and have made arrangements with him to drop off some corals on Saturday the 16th of December.

If you have some corals you would like to donate to the MG Reef Exhibit this would be a great time for you to join us at MG. See the intake process, talk QT, meet some of the crew, and maybe get a peek at the new exhibit and see how things are progressing.

If you have corals to donate, but can't make it that day...I'm more than happy to meet up with you somewhere and transport for you.

    Thanks All!

    Last Call!

Thanks to those who have already reached out....if you have something you would like delivered to the aquarium to donate to their exhibit and are unable to hold on to it until April, this is a great opportunity for you!

You can either meet me there and check out the QT building or I can meet you along the way and pick up/transport your corals.

    Thanks so much!

Things are looking good! All corals in QT had been moved to the exhibit tank and frag garden tank ahead of the new arrivals. Corals have regained much of their color, mushrooms have multiplied and it was great to see the last of the pre-Ike sps coloring up and back out for public viewing!

Ryan said that the corals that were brought yesterday, to his knowledge, were the first donations to be received since Ike, way to go MARSHians!

All corals were drip acclimated, dipped (using bayer) and placed in a qt tank where they will be observed for a bit.

Sorry the pics are blue! I was caught without my orange filter!
