    Introducing T5 lights

so for the last few years ive been running LEDS (hydra26) on my tank but now ive gotten the aquaticlife T5Hybrid to add in addition to the leds. I went with 4 blue plus bulbs. So here is my question, when introducing them to my tank how would yall suggest i ease them in? Im guessing that i should add a few minutes each day till i get to a certain point? Ive also changed the rotation 90degrees on the LEDS at the same time to fit the T5 frame.

    any suggestions?

Is the T5 portion dimmable? You could indeed run the risk of photo shock if you blast them at 100% right off the bat. I have the T5 dimmable and increased my 100% time by an hour one time and lost 3 euphyllias that were close to the surface.

no this model is not dimmable, they say that will happen in the next model, currently i just have it plugged into the apex and started it of at 15min a day and then increase it 1 minute more each day... wondering when its ok to go full blast.

Might be easier to back off the LED's until the T5+LED matches your current PAR. Run the T5's for however long you want your peak to be and then increase the LED intensity to wherever you want to be.

    I concur with this plan.
