Refugium on all in one tank

    Hey all,
Does anyone run a sump on their all in one? I have my sump not in use and waiting until I set up my bigger tank. Until the bigger tank is set up I'd like to run it on my Innovative Marine 30 gallon all in one. I have all the equipment minus a protein skimmer so is this overkill or is the added water volume and copepod sanctuary good enough reasons to set it up?

I definitely think the added water volume is a plus.

Added water and a place for copepods is a huge bonus

It depends on what you're trying to keep in that tank. Like any other job, get the tools for what's needed. Are you keeping softies? Are you keeping sea horses? There's a wide range of what you need and it's entirely based on what you want to keep.

Eventually I want to end up with a pair of black snowflake clowns, a mandarin goby with softies and mostly lps.
