    Bangai cardinals questions

Hi y'all quick question can I have 2 pairs of bangais in a 65? My ultimate goal is to atleast breed them once. But it's not a need. I just love Those fish I had one in my first tank it was a evo 5 and he died of fin rot due to a clown my dad gave me from his tank. I was soo sad and mad. But now that I have a big tank I want a tank filled of them. But how many can I have? What is a safe number and I'm guessing a medium even number so they can pair off? Right? The other fish in the tank would be a yellow belly hippo (the tang will be in there for a few month only once we get a 200 up and running!) and maybe a sand sifting goby and that's about all I want. Thank you!

You can have 2, a pair. Otherwise you need a whole school of them. They are aggressive, solitary, fish.... unlike pajama cardinals.

What he said...and try to get captive raised vs. wild caught. The captive raised are less likely to kill each other off.

Ok I'll look for them when I'm ready to get fish for that tank.

I have had 3 pajama and a bangaii with no issues, except a 6line that bullied them.
