Red Mangroves like Mag. They should be fine through the treatment though. They're pretty hardy. If leaves start falling...they're stressed. They'll drop their leaves if stressed enough. You can pull the roots off the rocks. They'll attach, but not enough to hurt them when you pull them off, just be careful. I have a guy in Florida that specifically grows mangroves in the rocks so he can sell them later. Otherwise, they will die if uprooted from substrate.

I can't believe you guys are having success with Bubble Algae. That's awesome...I never thought we'd have a cure for that in a million years. That stuff is like cancer.

Somebody told me that even if you take a rock out with BA on it and let it dry in the sun for 6 months and use it a year later the BA Will come back because the dry spores can reactivate once they are in the water again. That's pretty gnarly!

I think the best way to explain what it does detrimental, is that vibrant throws the balance of your tank off and the stability in the tank gets out of whack. I doubt it kills any coral. As long as you think the rewards are worth it I guess go for it. Be prepared for cyano potentially.... I will give it to those guys who developed it. For commercial tanks with just fish it's probably great. Go for a weekly maintenance job on a fish only system and no algae to deal with.
