I miss it. Got certified when I was 13 in Okinawa and havent been in almost 20 years. Kinda hard to go from Okinawa to chocolate milk Louisiana/Texas coast
I don't think you need a membership. You might need a particular post count to access it which I assume it would tell you when you tried.
There is a member only section, but there is a generic one as well.
I have four pieces, 3x3 is a smaller average. Would call them all bigger than that.
Looking for some Zoas or LPS, ideally relatively close to League City.
First fish (yellowhead butterfly) added on Saturday, eating like a champ. Will give it a week or two before I start moving other fish over (yellow coris, melanurus, clown pair)
Rock at this point is probably 50/50 new to live from my upgrade tank. Pods starting to establish a little bit...
Space in these stands its fairly minimal. Between the hinges and the top off container I have about 5" to work with.
So here is a prototype controller board (out of old presentation foam board) that I am pretty happy with. Tweaked a few things to make the switchboard sit back flush and am ready...
These packaged tanks should really come with in cabinet lighting pre-installed. Either way, ill consider it a productive lunch break getting things lit up.
I used these
Dumb fake flower niche thing, yeet.
Tank is in and wet! Only like 2 more days of water making to go. I really need to get a larger reservoir.
Also, giving the Jebao gyre a shot. This thing is awesome so far, it can make some WAVES especially with only 8" of water in there.
I've had this thing for years (like, probably approaching 10) and never used it. I don't see a model number or anything on it, can anyone school me on how to use this in my sump? Or should I just get a new one?
We'll see if this thread helps keeps me accountable, since Waterbox is already trying to do that by getting me a tank so dang quick.
Decided to upgrade from my ~35 gallon Red Sea AIO (almost 10 years old) and was stuck between the Waterbox and ordering from Planet. Decided I didn't like the...
Work tank (12 gallon long) needs to be relocated due to new flooring install so I am planning to make a mobile stand for it instead of it being on my desk. Here is the shell so far!
For the equivalent to yours (use your laptop to control) but a 48x32” cut area is $2700 so not exceedingly more expensive but a lot more rigid.
I went full bougee for right at $4k
The X-Carve was my front runner for a long time and then I stumbled across Onefinity and it just felt right to me. They had some standard versions but right about the time I pulled the trigger they came out with a new "elite" series which just opened the door for pretty much every future upgrade...
Nice! I always looked at that one and never could pull the trigger for some reason, I ended up ordering a Onefinity.
Is there a CNC thread somewhere? Might be worth making one if theres at least a few of us :)
