I need of some volunteers paid in beer pizza and SPS. I need to move the tank to another room so will have to drain remove rock fish and corals lift this think onto some furniture movers and into the other room. The more the merrier. It’s acrylic so I don’t think it will be too difficult to get onto the rollers once it’s drained

Did you want to borrow my water vats? I'll be in Huntsville this weekend for my open water scuba certification so won't be able to help, but my 175 gallon is empty at the moment, plus I have a spare 75 gallon that's ready to go as well. I have pumps and tubes too that you can borrow to move around water.

I have 2 100g troughs along with the 120g lagoon plus another 75g for a water change I am hoping that’s enough along with the additional 75 in freshwater I keep at all times

2 people can lift it since it’s acrylic so I don’t think it’s going to be that difficult. I just need like 3-4 people to help
Is the wife helping too?! :D

I can help. I have all the equipment needed to do it right. Might need some more 3D printed MP40s and 10 cages. And a few frags ;)

Several years ago I took down a 180g. It was very thick glass, no bracing.
I used the scissor jack from the car to pick up an end. Then put the furniture roller under. Jacked up the other end, then I could move it.

This is actually the plan but since it’s acrylic it shouldn’t be too difficult to lift and end up

I have four suction cups, which are a whole lot easier to lift with than trying to get your fingers under the tank. I have only used them on glass tanks, but I assume they would work on acrylic.

I don’t even think we have to take the tank off the stand. It only took 2 of use to move the tank and the stand separately before. Really just need to lift both together 4-6 inches to get them in the wheels and then move it to the other room the wheels will hold 3k lbs

That sounds even better.
