No, this is the Aqueon Pro 300 heater. I have two of them in the tank.

The mystery is solved. Today I found out why my tank crashed. Back when it crashed. I unplug everything to clean and salvage what I can. With the weather getting colder, i was preparing the tank for the cold by cleaning both of my heaters. As I removed one heater, I saw that it was cracked...
Hi, actually, I do not dose anything. I was too busy trying to drain the water out and clean the tank to try and save as much livestock as I can and did not get a chance to test the water. That and I was also trying to get rid of the smell as fast as I could be for the wife came home ;)
actually fish are okay. After a 100% water change, the water is clear enough to see inside the tank now. When it crashed, the water was almost mud like in clarity. My anemones seem to be okay as well and I may be able to save my frogspawns brain coral. My candy ( maybe 500 heads) doesn’t...
Sunday evening, I came home and feed the fish and corals. All we’re doing great. This morning, I woke up to a crashed tank. The tank is 5 years old and has been doing absolutely wonderful. Have no idea what happened. Here what it looked like when I drained the water
For reference...
So I just restarted the reefing hobby recently, but it looks like I might just slow the reefing down a bit to enjoy my other hobbies for a while..
Added a new member to the fleet this weekend..
I have this lovely beautiful RBTA that I purchased from Josh.
It is beautiful and super healthy and was about 10" wide opened up.
It was the center peice of my tank.
Well, apparently it did not take the news about the election results too well and around 2:00 AM last night it decided that...
I have a question regarding water parameters. I was always under the assumption that corals required absolutely pristine water quality, hence I have been working to get as clean water as I can in the tank.
Below are my test parameters using Red Sea and Salifert test kits.
Ammonia : 0.0...
I just saw this guy today on the live rock. I don't know what he is but I was afraid that he may be a pest. Afraid that he might get away if he was a real pest, I tried to catch him. In the process I accidentally caused him irreversible harm. Afterwards, it seems like he is a black limpet...
Okay, this is just a rant to let off some steam.. So I took a nap today and when I woke up and walked out towards the garage. I notice there was water all over the tile floors. I went to my laundry room thinking that maybe the washer leaked or over flowed or something like that. but what I...
I just lost my Powder Brown and Flame Angel to what I believe is Brook.
I think i picked up brook from a new peice of coral i just purchased.
The tank also has ick as well.
I am trying to save the other fishes and keeping my display tank fallow.
Question regarding the display tank. Do i...
So I had some flatworms in my tank. I purchased some Flatworm Exit and treated the tank. It did a really good job of killing the flatworms. Unfortunately, it also killed all my my little brittle stars and all my bristle worms as well. I figure for something labeled as reef safe, it would at...
