Some lost all and had for more that over a week a few feet of water in their home.
Three of them will be not even back in their home till 2018, so sad.

I would like to thank all and I know there are many who supported this and gave corals up to raise money in the auctions we had here on Marsh and on R2R.
I didn't keep up a list who all were part of it, and I don't wanna miss one of these ppl either by forgetting, you know who you are and you will be always on the Diesel list.

Ok lets get to the happy part now.
Two of the members chose the GC of Urban Aquatics and four of them for FJW.
Here are some happy pics, hope it helps...........

Alicia lost more than just here tank and had over 3' of water in her house, David came to rescue for her fish and they are save and sound till she can rebuild.

Kcell posted a amazing pic of his ZEO tank and creid for help but with 4" of water no one could reach his house.
Kcell, will be a active member on marsh once his house is rebuild and he will hire David to install his next build.

Josh, (TVU), we all saw the horrifying pictures after he finally was let back into his house more than a week being under water.
Josh will rebuild for sure one tank.

Andre, what a story was that.
But Andre worked 24hrs in a row to move and save what he could.
He's renting a 300 gallon tank now for all his corals and I only can imagine how big his new tank will be once his house is restored.

    Lee Pardue,
When they opened the flood gates at the barker reservoir it took less than a hour that his house took on water.
He lost everything from his new build.
Lee is rebuilding and will come back strong as he told me his plans for next year.

    Mary Williams,
    Who doesn't know Mary!
Mary didn't take on water but lost power to the apartment, she evacuated to her moms home but took her fish with her as her tank sat for more than a day with no power, she lost all here corals.

I hope that the Gift Cards will help these members to ease the loss a bit as it will never replace for what they love so much and put plenty of time in.
Lets pray us all that this event what they and what we all went through doesn't repeat it self any time soon.
But if it does lets stand up and makes us self strong for these in need.
    Thank you Ben very much.

We need everyone that lost their tanks, equipment, or livestock during Harvey to please respond to this thread with a list of what you lost and what you need so that we will be able to help all of those in need.

Since we also want to help all of the LFS (local fish store's) too the money will need to be spent at an LFS so that the donations from hobbyists are coming back to the community and supporting the LFS.

You can also post on Houston reef connection or REEF2REEF
