I think it is a type of Colt coral. Please ID it for me. On Pic is during the day and the other is at night.

Colt and carnations are different than the when I search Google Images.

Very cool though.

I found it. It is called "Kenya Tree". I totally forgot to bring you a frag of it Chris. Perhaps at the next meeting.

Might be, I have some Kenya but it has no color like that. It's just that light light brown, not bleached though. And I don't see it branching off like that anytime soon, I think we need to keep looking. That looks more like the Carnation than my Kenya.

Defo its a Kenya Tree. Mostly a pest in my tank now. They begin to drop off babies, and they start to pop up here and there in the tank.

^ do yours color up like that? Mine are about 5" tall but with no color.

mine met it's demise on my porch because it started dropping babies all over my tank...apparently these things need to actually be in the water in order to survive :|

edit: mine didn't color up like that though...it was a boring bland color :(...

Update on the Kenya tree.....

Is anyone else's Kenya tree have this greenish flourescing?

No, mine's plain old brown. I'd like to get a frag of yours sometime, I need more colorful softies for my macro tank.
